Part of our back-end team spent two days between talks, demos and conversations with other developers from the community.

And as always, we came back with heads full of ideas.

Why Laracon EU is important for Laravel developers

What makes Laracon special each year isn't just the framework itself, but especially the community surrounding it. From core contributors to agencies and freelancers, everyone comes together to discuss code, architecture, and the future of web development.

For our developers, it's a moment to step away from their daily projects and gain new perspectives. During the talks, as well as in the hallways, interesting conversations arose about scalability, lessons learned, and how teams can collaborate more effectively.

Inertia 3.0: even smoother integration

One of the topics that received a lot of attention was Inertia 3.0This new version makes it even easier to combine modern frontend frameworks with Laravel without the complexity of a full API layer.

For teams working with tools like Vue or React within a Laravel application, this offers interesting possibilities. The improvements ensure smoother integration and an even more enjoyable development process. Our team is already exploring how we can leverage these new capabilities in future projects.

AI in development with Polyscope

Another notable introduction was Polyscope, a tool that opens new doors for AI-driven development. The focus is on providing smarter support to developers during application building and maintenance.

While AI has certainly played a role in development for some time, it was interesting to see how this tooling is applied specifically within the Laravel ecosystem. We're currently experimenting internally to discover where this can truly add value in our workflow.

Scalable databases and smart architecture

Besides new tools, there were also strong talks on architecture and performance. Topics included:

  • designing scalable databases
  • optimizing queries and caching
  • building applications that can grow seamlessly with your product

These kinds of sessions are always valuable because they go beyond just the framework itself. They help us build more robust and future-proof applications for our customers.

Code reviews that really add value

A talk that generated a lot of recognition was about code reviews. Not only of you do them, but especially how you do them right.

The key message: code reviews shouldn't just be about finding bugs, but about sharing knowledge and improving the codebase as a whole. When teams handle this well, reviews become a crucial part of growth, both for individual developers and the team as a whole.

What do we bring to our projects?

After two days at Laracon, we went home with new insights, ideas, and experiments to try out. Not everything will be implemented tomorrow, but these kinds of events help us stay sharp and look ahead.

For our customers, this simply means: better software, more modern technology and a team that continues to learn.

See you next year?

Laracon EU 2026 was once again an inspiring event. We're already looking forward to the next edition, and in the meantime, we'll continue experimenting with everything we've learned.
