The question: from traditional real estate website to inspiring platform

The existing website no longer met Elxis's ambitions. There was a need for a modern platform that better aligns with the international target group and the growth of the companyIn addition to a refreshed look, the website also needed to become smarter in search, filter and present of homes.

The solution: a scalable platform with a focus on experience and conversion

We developed a new platform based on Laravel, Filament en React (SSR)The website combines a strong visual presentation with powerful functionality. Users can easily navigate through the offerings via smart filters, interactive maps and clear search functionality.

The search for homes is completely optimized with AIUsing Typesense and Laravel Scout, users can quickly and intuitively search by location, attributes, and properties. Additionally, we have a AI-driven search function added, allowing users to search using contextual search queries such as “villa on Crete”, for example.

Create a interactive map Mapbox visually displays all available homes. To optimize performance and costs, we combine dynamic maps with static map images where necessary.

The power of AI in the website

AI plays an important role within the platform. Content is automatically translated via a connection with DeepL, making pages and homes immediately available in multiple languages. The translations can then be easily adjusted manually in the CMS.

Also the search functionality is enriched with AI, allowing users to receive relevant results faster based on their intent rather than exact keywords. This ensures a smoother and more natural search experience.

Smart integrations with N8N

The website is linked to various external systems. Homes are supplied via an XML feed automatically synchronized and these can also be easily forwarded to external platforms Mailchimp for communication and lead follow-up.

Forms are centrally managed within the CMS, ensuring all submissions are clearly available in one place. By means of an integration with N8N do we have smart workflows set up automatically forward those form submissions to the correct department, contact person, or CRM system. This ensures fast and accurate follow-up of requests and makes it possible to leads personally and efficiently to pick up.

User-friendly website management and SEO

The platform is set up with a flexible content builder, which allows the Elxis team to build and modify pages without technical knowledge. This ensures maximum freedom in content management and fast iterations.

The platform is also optimized for SEO. Think of a clear interface for all metadata and support for structured data As a result, the website is easy to find and ready for further growth.

Migration and future-proof foundation

We migrated the entire website from WordPress to a modern Laravel architecture. In doing so, we used proprietary (open source) packages to speed and to ensure consistency in development.

The chosen tech stack — Laravel 12, Filament 4 and React 19 (SSR) — ensures a stable, scalable, and future-proof foundation upon which Elxis can continue to build.
