Montpellier – on the occasion of EuroPride Amsterdam last summer we created the Gay Pride App in collaboration with Amsterdam Gay Pride. This newly developed App has also attracted international attention for its interactive nature. Van Ons and AGP have been invited to present the EuroPride 2016 case in Montpellier (France) to 75 Gay Pride organizers from all over the world.

Many pride organizers have responded positively to the EuroPride case. You may come across the App in various Gay Prides in Europe, Asia and America in 2017.
The presentation during the conference had the following three pillars:
- State of Pride Apps 2016 – which Gay Pride Apps are there and what functions do they have?
- EuroPride 2016 App – the impact of adding interaction is enormous. Adding small interactions drives engagement from the hundreds of thousands of visitors!
- Future of Pride Apps Developing the technical possibilities offers opportunities for commercial partnership, security and self-development of an interesting and valuable dataset.
The presentation offers practical tools based on insights gained during EuroPride by Van Ons and Amsterdam Gay Pride. The insights for attendees could immediately be translated into improvements in Pride Apps.
