Introduce
At Van Ons, we have been developing websites since 2006. That means over 19 years. We are a technical digital agency focusing on the design and realization of digital channels. Think websites, apps, platforms, shops, and much more. Together with 25 colleagues, we work Van Ons office in the heart of Amsterdam on great, large projects that regularly win us awards. We have an internship available in 2026.
This is a Frontend internship where you will work with tools such as React, Typescript, and Tailwind. Together with you, we will look at your interests and the requirements for an internship based on your study program. Based on this, we will formulate a challenging internship assignment that you can work on for the entire period. And if you enjoy it, we will make room for you on client projects so you can get a taste of 'the real work'.
Role and competencies
- You are following a Software Development, ICT, FDND or similar course (MBO4 or HBO)
- You have demonstrable experience with Frontend (HTML, CSS, and Javascript) and you want to delve deeper into it.
- Pre: You have experience with (server-side) React and/or TypeScript
- In addition to Frontend-specific skills, you have experience with GIT and Figma (or similar tools).
- You are eager to learn, independent, and not afraid to ask questions.
- You enjoy working for a digital agency par excellence
- You have a keen eye for User Experience and enjoy thinking critically about a design.
- You understand WCAG best practices and know how to apply them in practice to deliver a perfectly accessible website.
