About From Us

Van Ons is a digital agency, consisting of 20 programmers and 3 project managers, located in Amsterdam. We build websites, webshops, apps and platforms. From our lovely office on the Weteringschans in Amsterdam we work on great projects for our clients. We regularly win prizes with what we make and what we do. For example, we have won multiple Website of the Year awards, we are in the Fonk150 list and we are listed in the EmerceTop100. We build websites for clients such as IKEA, AmsterdamUMC, Mediacourant, the Port of Rotterdam and De Hypotheekshop. We do this with open source software such as Laravel and WordPress.

About the role

As Project Manager you are the point of contact for our customers and the link between the client and the rest of our team. You manage the expectations of the customer, are their sparring partner and look with them at what else they can develop in the future. You ensure a well-functioning end product and always keep an eye on the budgets and planning And when we put something cool together, you'll be the first to run to our champagne fridge to pop open a bottle and celebrate.

About you

• You have an innate love for the internet and technology. As a child you played with Commodores or Game Boys, that kind of thing.
• You communicate clearly in word and writing, in both Dutch and English.
• You don't shy away from working your socks off. Mindset and perseverance is 90% of the work.
• You are good at organizing and planning. Really good.
• You delve into the details. You check in great detail what we deliver and whether that is really what the customer asked for.
• You pick up the phone when you need to know something quickly instead of sending an email.
• You don't need to be able to program, but you do know what a loop is, understand the difference between Laravel and PHP and understand how DNS settings work.
• You are enterprising, commercial and take initiative. You see for yourself when you need to support and when you need to sell extra hours.
• You know the dynamics of an office and you like it: keeping several plates in the air at the same time and being able to switch quickly.

• A good salary between €3500 and €5500, depending on level and work experience
