Four different cultural houses that have many similarities with each other but still have their own identity. With that in mind we started working for Amerpodia. The design for Amerpodia was devised by various design agencies and we have translated it into our own style for the four different cultural houses.

Full WordPress Gutenberg integration

The websites were all delivered in WordPress using Gutenberg. Gutenberg is the latest technology for WordPress back-end running. The editors are completely free to put together pages themselves using blocks. This provides more flexibility and simplicity in the structure of pages. Blocks with certain functionality can be used throughout the site.

Link with Ticketmatic

Our vision is that you become real Digital clout achieved when different online channels are linked together. At Amerpodia we were able to work decisively in that area. The various cultural centers regularly hold lectures, meetings or book reviews that everyone can attend. Ticket sales are therefore an important component of the websites. Amerpodia uses Ticketmatic to keep track of programming, ticket prices and availability.

With a custom-made plugin, the WordPress sites and Ticketmatic are properly connected. This way, visitors can easily order tickets for all events via the site.

Front and back fully integrated

The sites are designed in such a way that they match each other in terms of look and feel. The websites are also cleverly integrated with each other on a technical level. For example, the Felix Meritis website is exactly the same in terms of technology as Restaurant Felix, although the latter has its own front-end. The technology is designed in such a way that it can be reused, making this digital channel easy to scale up.

Weekly further development

Van Ons is in close contact with Amerpodia's marketing department every week. Every week we look together at where we can take steps with the sites, for example by adding new features or improving the design and UX. This means the sites are always relevant, up-to-date and fully in line with what is going on at the different locations.
